MAC STAR INK HB Gravure Inks have been developed when reverse printed film is followed by Extrusion lamination with woven PP fabric .This ink bears the stress of heat and pressure when reverse printed BOPP film undergoes sandwich lamination with molten PP granules of different grade on PP woven fabric , as secondary layer. Salient features are :

• Excellent flexibility
• Very good adhesion
• Acceptable block resistance
• Good printability

SUBSTRATE
Treated BOPP with treatment level 38 dynes/cm minimum

INK REDUCTION
For normal drying we recommend Toluene and Ethyl Acetate in certain percentage subject to climate condition. We recommend MIBK as retarder and Ethyl Acetate / MEK as accelerator. Excess of MIBK may lead to odour and blocking. Printer should be careful while using MIBK.

SOLVENT SYSTEM
TWell balanced blend of Aromatic and non Aromatic solvents are being supplied as per customer requirement. No esters could be used.

EXTENDER OR REDUCING MEDIUM
MC BOPP STAR HB ink medium is to be used for colour reduction and viscosity boost up during printing.

WASH UP
The reducers are suitable for washing up the press and press accessories.
